Various Artists – That’s So Raven

Posted on January 17th, 2008 in For Children,Soundtracks by Terrence Taps

Tap Dance Songs can be found everywhere! Thanks to Taylor for recommending this selection from the That’s So Raven CD. In sampling it, I heard several songs that could make for cool tap dance music, especially for kids!

Taylor’s favorite is “Beautiful Soul” by Jess McCarthy. It has a nice laid back beat and is open enough for a tap dancer to have plenty of “room” to dance.

Wade Robson – Dance Beats Vol. 1

Posted on January 16th, 2008 in Dance & DJ,Rap & Hip-Hop by Terrence Taps

Thanks to Tap Dance Songs contributor Hillary-Marie Michael for recommending this CD.

Wade Robson, who you have probably seen on his “reality” dance show on MTV, has produced Dance Beats, Vol. 1, a collection of music that he has created for use on his show and for many major artists. It has some catchy beats for tap dancers to move to!

This collection is not available in stores but can be downloaded at eMusic (where you can get it for free) or on: Wade Robson - Wade Robson's Project - Dance Beats, Vol. 1.
